Martin Waxman, APR,
President and Co-founder
Martin Waxman is president and co-founder of Palette Public Relations Inc., a Toronto-based PR agency. He has worked in communications and public relations for 25 years, specializing in consumer marketing, product launches, corporate and internal communications, b2b and entertainment. Martin leads Palette’s social media practice and helps clients develop strategic online programs designed to meet their business goals.
He writes a blog, my(PR)palette and is a regular panelist on the Inside PR podcast www.insidepr.ca.
Martin received his APR from the Canadian Public Relations Society, teaches a social media course at McMaster University and guest lectures on PR at universities and community colleges. He’s currently president of the CPRS Toronto board of directors and is a member of the PRSA Counselors Academy executive committee and the Humber School of Comedy advisory board.
Louise Armstrong
Executive Vice President and Co-founder
Louise Armstrong, an expert in consumer marketing, has managed national product launches and influencer campaigns for some of North America’s largest consumer goods companies. She has two decades of public relations experience including serving as public relations officer for Canada’s largest public school board and a speechwriter for the Ontario Government. Louise is the Executive VP and Co-Owner of Palette Public Relations.
Louise is passionate about the ethics, etiquette and protocol of the communications field and has previously served as director of the ethics committee for the Toronto chapter of the IABC. She is also a professional etiquette consultant and is certified by the Protocol School of Washington to teach corporate etiquette and international protocol. Louise’s views on ethics and etiquette can be found on her blog, www.acallforclass.com. Louise graduated from Humber College in Toronto with an Honours Diploma in Public Relations.
